thank you poems to teachers

In almost every romantic classic their is, most of the traditional ways of symbolizing and verbalizing love has been transformed into love poems in some way. Before anything was written down even, in ancient times, poetry was a gift given from one person to the next and was greatly appreciated as it displayed thoughtfulness and intellect.

Many couples find that they are at a loss of words when it comes to wording their wedding invitations. Even if your poem won't win any literary prizes, the person you present it to will most likely treasure it as if it were composed by one of the great Romantic poets. Traditionally, poetry was always included in wedding ceremonies but over time the tradition has been somewhat lost and along with it some of the romance of ceremonies has been lost too.

If someone might buy a gift for a friend today, Shakespeare would have written that person a sonnet. A poem should be written subtly and ensure it is not too emotional. Perhaps you can extract some meaning from the lines that hit home, and perhaps the poem is crap to start out with, so go find a poet you like.

Forget all that stuff you learned in school and just write. A lovely memento to keep over the years is a poem.
