metaphor poems

Friends and family can be really helpful at a time like this but this doesn't help you to put down on paper how you really felt about your mom. It uses words as tools for the transmission of experience.

Our family has had its fair share of choosing and reading in loving memory poems, and here is a little insight into what we found. A lot of people choose to read passages from the Bible rather than a poem because they think that this is more appropriate. Even though it is easier to pick someone's lines and write them down for your mother, try to express your love for your mother in our own words.

You may feel that your writing skills are not adequate enough to accurately portray your feelings to your best friend. A poem you write for someone you know of might just bring the same reassuring message to other families who suffer through death. Only time heals grief but in the mean while if there are words of comfort sometimes they help the grieving people by giving them a different perspective of the unfortunate event.

Give it a try, you will not regret it. Select a main theme for the Poem and start writing.
